Last Week's Most Popular Phone Plans (12/08/19)

Looking for a new SIM-only or prepaid phone plan but can't work out what to pick? Here's a look at the most popular plans on WhistleOut in the last week.

1. Coles

We're Sorry

This product is no longer available

First up we have longer-than-average prepaid recharge from Coles. $20 gets you 28GB on 35-day term. That's pretty damn good! However, there is a catch: you'll only get 28GB on your first three recharges. Your allowance drops to 3GB from your fourth recharge onward. However, since Coles prepaid plans are contract-free, you can leave whenever you want. Coles is powered by the Optus network.

2. amaysim

A dollar per gig is hard to pass up, especially when there's 30 of them. At $30 for 30GB on a 28-day recharge, amaysim is a solid choice if you're after a prepaid plan. In addition to heaps of data, you'll get unlimited standard international calls to 10 select countries, and unlimited international talk and text to 32 select countries.

3. Jeenee Mobile

We're Sorry

Jeenee Mobile's 15GB plan is easily one of the best plans around in terms of data-for-dollar, and it's even better right now thanks to a slight discount. $19.90 per month gets you 15GB on a 12-month contract, down from $22.50 per month. This discount is available until August 31, so you've got plenty of time to jump on this deal. Jeenee Mobile is powered by the Optus network.

4. OVO

We're Sorry

This product is no longer available

OVO is another great bang for buck option. $19.95 gets you a 30-day prepaid recharge with 10GB of data. Since the plan is prepaid, you're not locked into a fixed term, and can leave whenever you want. OVO is powered by the Optus network.

5. Exetel

We're Sorry

This product is no longer available

If you don't need much data, Exetel has you covered. $8.99 per month gets you 2GB, along with unlimited talk and text. Better yet, it's a contract-free plan so you can always move to a larger plan if your needs change. Exetel is powered by the Optus network.

How we measure plan popularity

The popularity of these plans is measured by the number of "product information" and "go to site" clicks they've had on WhistleOut across the past seven days.
