Good deal: Save $900 off Huawei P30 and P30 Pro when you take up a JB Hi-Fi Telstra plan

If you’re looking to save on your Huawei P30 or Huawei P30 Pro pre-order, JB Hi-Fi is running a hell of deal. If you sign up to JB Hi-Fi's $65 per month Telstra plan for two years, you can get a $900 discount on your choice of P30 series phones. This means you'll pay $199 upfront for the Huawei P30, or $699 upfront for the Huawei P30 Pro.

If you're after the P30 Pro, you're looking at a total cost of $2,259 over the course of 24 months. That's comparable to the 24-month cost of an Optus $95 per month plan with 50GB ($2,280) or and a little bit cheaper than the 24-month cost of Telstra's $109 per month 50GB P30 Pro plan ($2,616).

Essentially, you pay a higher upfront fee for a lower monthly bill.

The $65 JB Hi-Fi Telstra plan you need to sign up for to get the $900 P30 or P30 discount has the following inclusions: 60GB of data, and unlimited talk and text. This promo is available in stores only until April 15. Since it's a pre-order, you'll also get a bonus Sonos One wireless smart speaker with either phone.
