Aldi Mobile’s popular $35 plan will soon lose a significant amount of value, with the telco to launch several price tiers to replace its current ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach.
From April 1 Aldi will introduce Small, Medium, Large and X-Large pricing tiers, with the old $35 plan sitting in the X-Large bucket. This new plan includes $1250-minutes call value and 1GB data, down from 2,500-minutes call value and 2.5GB data.

This is a huge cut, and not dissimilar to the last cut made by the telco less than six months ago.
Customers who need more data will have the option to add 1GB for $10 each time they reach 70% of their current data allowance. If you don’t feel like you need as many calling minutes, customers will be able to save $5 and halve the number of available minutes.
