Changes to Plans (month-to-month): We may make changes to your month-to-month mobile plan, including to the price or inclusions. This could include moving you to a new plan, which may cost more. We’ll give at least 30 days’ notice of any increase to plan access fees, any data inclusion decrease or any plan moves. If you don’t like the change, you can choose a new plan (once per payment cycle) or cancel.

Optus Choice Plus Plans (month-to-month): You can change to another eligible plan once per payment cycle or cancel at any time. If you change your plan, any related device payment plan will remain in place and the payments will remain the same. You may lose existing add-ons if you change to a plan that is not eligible for these and you will not receive a pro rata refund. If your plan is cancelled, there are no cancellation fees but you will not receive a pro rata refund for the reminder of the payment cycle, unless otherwise provided in our standard agreement and subject to your consumer law rights. Any related device payment plan will be cancelled and you’ll have to pay out any remaining payments owing as a one off payment with any device credits or discounts forfeited. You are responsible for all charges incurred on your account by any linked Optus Kids Plans, including device charges. You will be automatically charged via card once per month for recurring charges and any add-ons. You must maintain your card payment details or your plan will be cancelled.

Device Payment Plans (OptusPay): You can buy an eligible device on a device payment plan and pay for it over a selected term by monthly instalments (also referred to as Optus Pay). You will need to remain on an eligible Optus Plan for the term of your device payment plan. If you cancel your eligible plan or move to an ineligible plan, your related device payment plan will also be cancelled. If your device payment plan is cancelled, you’ll need to pay out any remaining device payments in full. Any applicable device credits or discounts will be forfeited. If you have a related Optus Kids Plan and the primary service is cancelled (by you or Optus) then all device payment plans related to the services will be cancelled and you will need to pay out the full remaining cost of all of the devices with any applicable device credits or discounts forfeited. This is subject to your consumer law rights. Limit of one device payment plan per eligible device and per Optus plan. You will be automatically charged via card once per month for device payments. You must maintain your card payment details or your device payment plan will be cancelled.

Standard International Calls and Text: Medium or Large Optus Choice Plus/Business Choice Plus, and $79 Optus Plus Promo plan inclusions for standard international calls and text can be used to the following selected destinations: Brazil, Brunei, Cambodia, Canada, Mainland China, Columbia, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Laos, Lebanon, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Romania, Singapore, South Korea, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand, United Kingdom, USA and Vietnam. Destinations are subject to change. Calls and texts to other destinations are not included.

No Excess Data Charges: If shared data allowance is exceeded, all shared data services on your account will be slowed to a maximum speed of 1.5Mbps (suitable for general internet browsing and music streaming, however some activities such as video streaming may see increased buffering and loading times). Usage while slowed is unmetered. Applies to data usage in Australia only.

Data Add-ons: Available on selected mobile plans. Each add-on can be added once per 24 hrs, per service. You can access your Data Add-ons as soon as you request it. You may automatically be charged via card on activation of the add-on, if no payment is made you will still have access to the add-on and the amount will be added to your next monthly invoice. The inclusion of your Data Add-on is added to your shared data allowance on your account. Data is counted in KB increments and includes uploads and downloads. Any unused data is forfeited and cannot be rolled over to your next payment cycle. Usage alerts are sent at 50%/85%/100% of your shared data via SMS or email. Add-on expires if data used or at end of payment cycle (whichever is first). Data can only be used in Australia.

Usage alerts: Usage alerts are typically real-time but delays of up to 48 hours may be experienced. You will receive alerts in Australia and while roaming overseas via SMS. However, you can change your preferred method of receiving usage alerts and service notifications anytime by visiting My Account. To learn more about usage alerts, optus.com.au/alerts

Optus Bundle Bonus/Business Bundle Bonus: Available to customers with a connected eligible Mobile, Home internet or Data plan service (Primary Service) who sign up to any eligible new mobile, Home internet or Data plan service (Additional Service). Also available to customers who purchase a Primary Service and Additional Services in the same transaction. The $15 discount for 12 months applies to the standard monthly access fees on each Additional Service and reverts to standard in-market price on Additional Services after 12 months. The discount does not apply to any add-ons or linked device payments and is forfeited if you cancel, recontract or change your Additional Service to an ineligible plan. Offer available until withdrawn.

Optus SubHub: Available to Optus Consumer and Business (exc Techfund and Fleet) customers with an eligible Optus post-paid service. Access to SubHub platform requires the customer to be verified as the Optus account holder, by Optus MyAccount login. Content Service subscriptions sold separately. For available Content Services visit http://subhub.optus.com.au, services are subject to change. Content Services provided by third parties on their customer terms: contact relevant Content Service provider for access requirements and applicable terms. Optus provides billing management services for selected Content Services, with subscription charges payable to Optus via an Optus bill. Subscriptions auto renew monthly [in advance], unless cancelled. If there are no eligible plans on an Optus account or you haven’t paid your Optus bill on time, access to the SubHub platform will be limited and all Content Service subscriptions will end at their next renewal date. To continue accessing Content Services subscriptions, you will need to change your chosen payment method with the relevant Content Service providers. Limit one SubHub account per Optus account.

Optus Daily Roaming: is automatically activated and is available on Consumer Choice Plus and Business Choice Plus mobile plans and MBB plans in Zone 1 destinations. For Choice Plus, Business Choice Plus, Qantas plans with no inclusion, Qantas plans with expired roaming inclusion within 30 days and MBB data plans, you will be automatically charged via card upon first usage in an eligible destination. If your payment fails you will need to check your payment details are correct, and all roaming usage will be restricted. Usage alerts are sent at 50%/85%/100% of your data inclusions. Optus Daily Roaming includes 5GB data for $5 as well as unlimited standard national talk and text in Zone 1 destinations or to Australia (standard national talk is not available with MBB plans). Optus Daily Roaming expires once the 5GB of data is used or once the 24 hour duration has ended (whichever is first). If you continue to roam in eligible destinations, we’ll automatically add another 5GB to your service, and you will be charged another $5 for the extra usage. Unused data expires.
