Starlink has discounted the cost of its Standard Kit by over 70% down from $549 to just $149 in select areas.
The Standard Kit is your router for connecting to Starlink's low-earth orbit satellites. You can self-install, or if you're after permanent installation, Starlink can send you a quote from a third-party installer.
It's also cut the cost of its Residential Lite service (for the first 12 months) by $20 per month. That brings the monthly price for the first year down to $79 per month, then $99 per month ongoing.
This offer is available until October 23.
If you don't stay connected to your Residential Lite plan for the full 12 months, you'll forfeit any remaining discount pricing.
Starlink offers a 30-day hardware trial. If you change your mind within the trial period, you can return the hardware for a full refund (this does not include the first month's plan fees).
It's worth noting that Starlink may charge a demand surcharge in certain areas. This can be as little as $295, but we've also seen quotes as high as $1,295. You will see an exact quote for plans and discounts available at your address on Starlink's website.
Starlink is also discounting its Starlink Mini by 25%. It's currently $449 down from $599, until January 6 next year.
The Mini is the hardware you'll need to get connected to one of Starlink's Roam plans for satellite internet on the go.
Its Roam plans start at $80 per month with 50GB of data.
