Following big changes to Foxtel Play, Foxtel is charging on with its new approach to streaming with a dedicated app for children's content, creatively named Foxtel Kids. In addition to making age appropriate content available to stream, you're able to download shows to a phone or tablet for offline viewing.

One Foxtel account can be used to install Foxtel Kids up on up to five devices, while two can simultaneously access the service. You're able to switch out of your five registered devices once per month.

Foxtel Kids offers ad-free viewing, and allows parents to set up content restrictions and screen-time limits. Downloaded shows can be viewed for 31 days, and an unlimited number of times.

The Foxtel Kids standalone app is available to Foxtel and Foxtel Play customers who subscribe to the Foxtel Kids pack. Kids is available as a standalone for $10 per month through Foxtel Play. Channels include Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., Disney Channel, Disney Junior, Disney XD, CBeebies, Discovery Kids, Cartoon Network, and Boomerang.

Streaming through Foxtel Kids will use about 720MB per hour when viewed at the highest quality, and about 320MB per hour when streamed using mobile data.

Foxtel Kids is available for iPhone, iPad, and Android smartphones and tablets.

About this Service

WhistleOut maintains a broad list of service providers and we endeavour to include at least the top ten service providers in every category so that you can make a transparent choice. When you see a 'promoted product' or a product with a 'go to site' button it means that WhistleOut is earning a transaction click fee for the referral. We audit the prices in our database regularly and we don't alter the ranking of products in our organic search based on any commercial relationship. Find out more here
