Vodafone customers can now add a Hubbl set-top box to their NBN plan, allowing them to pay it off over 24 months. Bundling a Hubbl will cost customers $4.12 per month paid over 24 months.
Anyone who takes up a Hubbl through Vodafone before August 25 will also get six free months of access to Binge's standard tier. This can be used by new, existing, and returning Binge customers.
Here are Vodafone's current NBN plans:
Vodafone NBN plans also come with a bundle discount for existing Vodafone postpaid mobile customers.
A standard Binge plan is billed at $18 per month, which works out to be $108 over the course of six months. Given a Hubbl set-top box costs $99, you're effectively getting the hardware for free as part of this offer, assuming you're already paying for Binge.
If you cancel your Vodafone NBN plan early, you'll need to pay out the remaining value of your Hubbl.
As part of Vodafone's partnership with Hubbl, the telco is also including three free months of Binge on all mobile plans. Unlike the NBN offer, this deal is only available to customers who aren't currently subscribed to Binge. This offer runs until December 1.
Here are Vodafone's SIM-only mobile plans:
While the free subscriptions are for Binge's standard tiers, customers who received them can upgrade to premium by paying a discounted rate of $4 per month.
At present, Vodafone is the TPG Group telco offering Hubbl. iiNet offers rival streaming deviceFetch TV with some of its plans, and a company spokesperson told us this won't be currently changing.
