Yomojo will start selling NBN plans later this year, following an announcement it has extended its wholesale agreement with Optus for another three years. Yomojo already resells Optus mobile and 5G wireless internet plans, but says NBN is "the final piece" of its growth strategy.
Yomojo CEO James Linton told WhistleOut that the company plans to start offering NBN by August 15. The company has already released pricing for its plans, which is based on the new NBN wholesale rates that will kick in from July 1.
These are as follows:
- NBN 25: $65 per month
- NBN 50: $85 per month
- NBN 100/20: $90 per month
- NBN 100/40: $95 per month
- NBN 250: $100 per month
- NBN 1000: $110 per month
Yomojo mobile customers will be able to save up to $20 per month on an NBN plan by bundling on the same account.
Linton says Yomojo will pitch its NBN plans as being fixed price, and plan prices will only change with the annual NBN wholesale price increase. Yomojo won't offer honeymoon discounts on NBN plans.
"I hate the NBN offers in market to get you on a really nice rate, but then make a massive profit off a customer from month seven onwards," said Linton.
Linton also says Yomojo's NBN plans will be easy to cancel.
"If you want to cancel, you can do it online, no need to call up and speak with a retention team."
These are the most popular NBN 50 plans with WhistleOut users this week:
