Save $20 per month on Optus 5G home internet (on top a free month)

Optus is offering new customers who take up its best 5G home internet plan their first month for free, and then a $20 per month discount for the following six months. This means you'll pay $79 per month for your initial six months, and $99 per month thereafter.

This 5G home internet plan is Optus' only option that has uncapped 5G speeds. This means it runs as fast as network conditions allow. Optus is currently reporting typical evening speeds of 210Mbps.

In addition to super fast download speeds, this plan also includes a Fetch Mighty set-top box with a premium channel pack, and an Optus Sport subscription.

Optus 5G home internet is currently available at over 1.2 million addresses.

While Optus' 5G home internet plans are contract-free, you'll need to pay a modem fee if you leave in your first 36 months. This is equivalent to $16 multiplied by the number of months left in your three-year term.

This offer runs until December 12.
