
Telstra's budget brand Belong has introduced a range of SIM-only mobile broadband plans, including a massive 500GB option. The telco has three options you can pick from: a 20GB plan for $15 per month, an 80GB plan for $35 per month, or a 500GB plan for $70 per month.

Belong's mobile broadband plans are all contract-free. As with its mobile plans, you can gift unused data to other Belong mobile or mobile broadband customers. The plans are powered by the Telstra wholesale network.
Since Belong's mobile broadband plans are SIM-only, you'll need to bring your own device, whether it's a tablet or a portable WiFi modem. At present, Belong doesn't sell any hardware.
Belong's 500GB plan is especially notable as it's the largest mobile broadband plan available in Australia. Parent company Telstra has a 400GB option, but most other providers won't offer allowances larger than 200GB. For some, a 500GB allowance would easily make Belong's plan a viable alternative to a fixed line NBN connection.
