Gritty. Compelling. Addictive. If you liked Billions, Suits, and Breaking Bad, Succession should be next on your list. Featuring fierce characters and a race-to-the-throne storyline, it's no wonder it's a two-time Emmy award winner for Outstanding Drama Series.
Sounding like something you can't believe you haven't already watched? Here's how you can start streaming Succession ASAP.
Watch Succession in Australia
Since HBO Max became its own streaming service, Succession made the move away from Binge to call HBO Max home. All you'll need is an account and you're good to go!
Here's how much you can expect a HBO Max subscription to set you back:
|
HBO Max
From
$11.99/mth
or $119.99/yr

Sadly, no HBO Max does not offer a free trial, although it has in the past. So that's not to say there won't be a HBO Max free trial available in future.
In the meantime, however, if you're after a way to save on your subscriptions, there are plenty of ways to save money on HBO Max.
What is Succession about?
Succession follows the Roy family and their legacy which controls the largest media and entertainment company in the world. The real drama ensues when the patriarch of the family decides to step down from the company. Who will fill their father's big and expensive shoes?
Basically it feels like Yellowstone but much more internally competitive amongst the family as opposed to outside threats plus its city-based and more white collar.
Directors: Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, Justin K. Thompson | Cast: Nicholas Braun, Brian Cox, Kieran Culkin, Peter Friedman, Matthew Macfadyen, Alan Ruck, Sarah Snook, Jeremy Strong
Language: English | Rating: MA15+
Genre: Workplace drama

How does HBO Max compare?
HBO Max is priced to compete with Binge, costs $10, $19 and $22 per month for its equivalent plans. HBO Max also offer annual plans with discounted pricing which are worth a look if you're willing to commit longer.
