So how can you climb onboard this post-apocalyptic bandwagon? Keep reading to find out.

Sadly, no HBO Max does not offer a free trial, although it has in the past. So that's not to say there won't be a HBO Max free trial available in future.
In the meantime, however, if you're after a way to save on your subscriptions, there are plenty of ways to save money on HBO Max.
What is The Last of Us about?
Based on the extremely popular survivalist sci-fi video game of the same name, The Last of Us takes place during when the world is plunged into a pandemic-like state. It follows the journey of Joel (Pascal) a man tasked with protecting and transporting 14-year old Ellie (Ramsey) to safety. As the world's last hope for survival, Joel will do whatever it takes to keep Ellie safe.
While this series has a very 'The Walking Dead' theme to it, but don't be fooled! These creatures are humans turned from a spore virus, not zombies.
