Christmas is coming early for Vodafone prepaid customers! The telco has announced it will be gifting an extra 35GB of freebie data to eligible prepaid users, between now and November of next year.
You won't receive your bonus 35GB in one hit: instead, the amount will be distributed over your next ten recharges. Each time you top up your plan by $40 or more, you'll be given an extra 3.5GB - so if you make ten qualifying recharges before November 15, 2018, you'll get a total of 35GB free.
To qualify, customers will need to be on an eligible Vodafone Prepaid Data or Talk Combo plan. You'll also need to opt-in to the promo by texting '35' to 1263 before January 31, 2018, as the deal won't be automatically applied to customer accounts.
The bonus data is available to both existing prepaid users and new customers just signing up: so if you've been weighing up a jump to Vodafone, now's a great time to get on board. The telco is also cutting prices on its $40 Talk Combo and Data combo starter packs, both of which are currently available for $20 for customers who buy online.

Each starter pack includes unlimited standard national talk and text, with the Talk Combo featuring 6GB of data (9.5GB with the above 3.5GB offer), 1000 minutes of international calls to 15 selected countries, and 90 minutes of calls to 58 selected countries.
If you'd prefer more gigabytes and don't need international minutes, the Data Combo starter pack includes 12.5GB of data (9GB, plus your bonus 3.5GB). Both Talk and Data Combo plans come with a 35-day expiry period.
