We're just over a week into December, and the Christmas mobile deals show no sign of stopping.

Virgin Mobile is the latest to join in on the festive madness, and is doing 20% off all 12-month SIM plans. Our favourite offer is the $32 per month plan (discounted from $40), which gets you 15GB of data, unlimited talk and text, and $200 of credit for international talk and text.

If you use the promo code "WHISTLEOUT" when signing up for the plan, you'll score yourself an extra 500MB per month. You're welcome.

Thanks to the discount, the plan is currently the cheapest way to get a 15GB data allowance. Optus and Vodafone will both charge you $40 per month for the same amount of data.

If you want more data, $48 per month (down from $60) will get you 22GB, unlimited talk and text, and $400 of credit for international talk and text.

While this is still a great deal, Optus edges it out with its newly launched $50 per month 30GB plan.
