A blink-and-you'll-miss-it offer from Vaya: sign up for a new unlimited plan, get free double data for your first month.
The promo is available for customers signing up for a new, month-to-month unlimited mobile plan between now and July 31. Plans and prices are as follows:
Unlimited S: $16 per month for 1GB of data (2GB for your first month)
Unlimited M: $22 per month for 2GB of data (4GB for your first month)
Unlimited L: $26 per month for 4GB of data (8GB for your first month)
Unlimited XL: $36 per month for 10GB of data (20GB for your first month)
All of the above Vaya plans include unlimited national calls, texts and MMS. Customers on the L and XL plans can also add an optional 200 minutes of international calls to selected countries, for an extra $2 per month.
More Vaya deals
As far as bonus data deals go, it's not the most lucrative offer on the market: you'll only receive your double gigabytes during your initial month of service. But if you were already considering a switch to Vaya, it's a nice welcoming gift (particularly on the excellent $36 10GB plan).
The deal is also only available on Vaya's SIM only, month-to-month plans, so you'll need to bring your own unlocked smartphone to qualify. However, Vaya is also running a special offer this week for customers looking to pick up a new device: buy a phone, get six months of free service on its 1GB plan (or an $87 discount on the M, L, or XL plans).
Vaya's double data first month offer expires July 31. For more information on Vaya's contract-free and six month smartphone plans - all of which are powered by Optus' 4G Plus network - start comparing below.
