
You won't have to be an Optus customer to watch the Premier League or the FIFA World Cup anymore. From later this month, Optus Sport subscriptions will be available to anyone, no matter what telco they're with.
If you're not with Optus, Optus Sport will cost you $14.99 per month, and you'll be able to subscribe through Google Play or the iOS App Store. After you've signed up on your phone or tablet, you'll also be able to watch in your browser, on Apple TV, Chromecast, and Fetch TV.
Optus customers on eligible postpaid plans will continue to get free access to Optus Sport as part as part of their service.
As part of today's news, Optus also announced that is has retained the rights to the Premier League. It currently has the rights to every match from 2019 to 2022.
