Socially conscious telco Jeenee Mobile has added two new sets of SIM-only phone plans with discounts for seniors and Australians living with disabilities. In either case, eligible customers can get one of the following options:
- 6GB of data, and unlimited talk and text for $19.90 per month on a month-to-month basis
- 10GB of data, and unlimited talk and text for $19.90 per month on a 12-month contract
In both cases, there's also a $12.37 setup and SIM delivery fee. These plans would normally cost $25 per month.
To be eligible for the discount, you'll need to provide a Senior Card, Centrelink CRN, Veteran Affairs Health Card, NDIS Participant Number, or proof of Disability Support Pension.
You can get more details on these plans here. Note that this page also lists a 1GB plan for $9.90 per month, but this is identical to Jeenee's standard plans.
In addition, Jeenee has tweaked a couple of its other plans. $32 per month now gets you 18GB on a 12-month contract, and $40 will take it 23GB if you sign up before the end of August. These plans also include unlimited talk and text, and $300 or $500 of international calls, respectively.
All of Jeenee's plans are also available contract free, but with a smaller data inclusion. If you stick with Jeenee, the telco will however bump up your data allowance after six months, and once again at 12 months.
