Kogan has expanded its range of mobile plans with two new SIM-only plans, one of which will set you back just $25 per month for your first year and get you a sizeable 45GB. The plan is sold on a 12-month contract, and the pricing will only apply during that period, after which you'll need to pay $40 per month. However, you can always bounce when the discount runs out, as your contract will be over too.
Here are Kogan's two new plans:
The second plan gets you 80GB for $40 per month for your first year, after which you'll pay $60 per month. Once again, you'll need to sign a 12-month contract, but can leave as soon as your discount is over.
Kogan Mobile plans are powered by the Vodafone mobile network. While the plans are rather barebones, you can also earn $1 Qantas Point for every $2 spent with Kogan Mobile. These offers are available until May 6.
When compared to similar plans on the market, Kogan shakes up pretty well:
iiNet is a solid alternative, however, offering 40GB for just $15. This pricing only lasts for your first six months however, after which you'll pay $29.99 per month. Alternatively, Circles.Life is offering 50GB for $22 per month for your first year, after which you'll pay 20GB for $28. Both these plans are contract-free, while Kogan's requires committing to 12 months.
iiNet is powered by the Vodafone network, while Circles is powered by Optus.
