It's been a long time coming but Aussies can finally get their hands on the latest BlackBerry Android smartphones. Well, almost. The company today announced that the BlackBerry KEY2 Black Edition, BlackBerry KEY2 Red Edition, and BlackBerry KEY2 LE will all be available to purchase through Amazon from mid-June.
All three phones are pretty similar. They all have the physical keyboard you'd expect from a BlackBerry, they all have a 4.5-inch touchscreen with a slightly odd 3:2 aspect ratio, and they all run BlackBerry's security-focused take on Android. Better yet, all three still have a headphone jack!
The BlackBerry KEY2 Red Edition is the newest of the three, and was unveiled at Mobile World Congress earlier this year. The main difference between it and the standard KEY2 is the red colour scheme, which is perfect if you've ever thought BlackBerries are just too black. It also has 128GB of storage, whereas the standard KEY2 only has 64GB.
The standard BlackBerry KEY2 was announced about a year ago, succeeding the KEYone. Despite this, it's only just getting a local launch now. Key improvements between the KEY2 and KEYone include a sleeker design, wider physical keys, and beefier hardware.

Lastly, the BlackBerry KEY2 LE is the most affordable of the three devices, and makes a few compromises to save on price. The body is polycarbonate rather than aluminium, and the hardware is a little more conservative. You'll be able to get it in three different colours: black, atomic red, and champagne gold.
Here's how the three compare:
