Apple stores worldwide will remain closed until further notice in response to the coronavirus pandemic, according to a report published by Bloomberg.
The tech giant over the weekend announced that it would be shutting all stores outside of the Greater China region until March 27, but the company is no longer holding to this date. Apple's website has since been updated with this disclosure.
Apple stores in Greater China will continue to operate.
The extension is likely due to increasing safety measures around the world, with a number of cities and countries forcing the closure of non-essential businesses.
Apple's online store will still continue to operate, as will its online support. If you need to get an Apple product repaired while stores are closed, you'll need to organise your repair online and send your device directly to Apple.
If you purchased a product before the closure and want to use the 14-day return window, Apple will accept returns up to 14 days after stores reopen. If you've left a device at a store for repair, you will only be able to collect it after the store reopens.
