You changed your phone plan. Got the new SIM card. You’re ready to make the switch.
But wait… Where is that thing? You know..? The stick thing you use to open the SIM card area, ahhh whats it called again - oh right the SIM ejector tool!
Can’t find it? Well we’re not surprised, SIM ejector tools are nondescript little gadgets which you probably used once, put down on the table and immediately lost. They’re like a matching pair of socks, bound to not stay around long.
Luckily we’ve tested some alternatives you can use to get into that hidey hole (which you probably already have laying around the house).
If you have the option to use an actual ejector tool, use that instead. While these worked in our tests, it's always safest to use the specially made tool rather than an alternative.

An earring

Bedazzle your SIM slot. Rock that rock. Use an earring to make your phone ring.
A singular staple

Ahh staples. Use it to get organised, to tentatively hold your life together, or to get into your SIM tray.
Uno paperclip

The swiss-army knife of office stationery is at it again.
Sparkle sparkle(r)

It’s lit.
