5G Home Internet Plus Plan

Service Description

This service is a Home Internet service. 5G Home Internet Plans are a fixed data-only service that provides you with internet access via Vodafone 5G Network in Australia.

The Plan uses the Vodafone 5G Network which is only available in selected areas. The Modem will default to 4G (if available) if the 5G Network is unavailable. This Plan is available strictly to approved customers residing in selected areas in Australia.

Speed

5G Home Internet Plus Plan includes unlimited data at speeds up to 50Mbps (download) and 20Mbps (upload) and is suitable for streaming 4K and HD video, downloading large files, social media and casual online gaming. The maximum speeds available on this plan (50/20 Mbps) are a limit on what speeds you can receive, not a measurement of what you will actually receive at all times. You may experience slower speeds than this during busy periods and at other times.

Vodafone 5G Home Modem

$0 Super Wi-Fi modem and Mesh included over 36 months. Modem and first Mesh provided at no extra cost when you stay connected to an eligible home internet plan over 36 months. Modem non-return fee may apply. T&Cs apply.

Early Exit Fees and Modem Non-Return Fees

There are no Early Exit Fees on this Plan. You must use the Vodafone provided 5G compatible modem (‘Modem’) with your plan. Vodafone owns the Modem and retains full legal title and beneficial ownership in the Modem:

1. For new and remanufactured Modems that are issued to you under your Plan – you must return the Modem within 30 days of your Plan being cancelled or withdrawn. If your Plan is cancelled or withdrawn within 36 months of connecting, and you do not return the Modem in Good Working Order within 30 days, a Modem Non-Return Fee will apply. The Non-Return Fee is $0 when you stay connected for 36 months (‘Device Period’). If you do not return the Modem, you will be charged a Non-Return Fee calculated by $11 x number of months remaining of the Device Period. The total maximum cost of not returning the Modem is $396

For example, if you leave at month 20 of your 36-month Plan you would pay a Non-Return Fee of $11 x 16 (number of months remaining of the Device Period), at a total of $176.

Good Working Order means the returned Modem is near new with only minor signs of wear and tear, and includes all original equipment.

2.  For refurbished Modems that are issued to you under your Plan - the refurbished Modem must be returned to Vodafone within 30 days of your Plan being cancelled or withdrawn.

If you require a modem replacement, you may be provided with a new, remanufactured or refurbished modem and the terms applicable to that type of modem will apply.

Network Guarantee

If you’re a new customer signing up to a plan and you’re not satisfied with Vodafone network within the first 30 days, you can leave to this plan. Vodafone even refund any monthly plan fees or modem instalments that you’ve paid - just return your modem in its original packaging within 10 days of your claim. You’ll only have to pay for usage charges or charges for services not included in your plan, which were incurred up to when your cancellation is finalised.
