The TPG Home Wireless Broadband Unlimited Plan is a home wireless service that runs on Vodafone 4G Mobile Network. Recurring charges are payable monthly in advance.
The TPG Home Wireless Broadband offer speeds up to 20Mbps download and 2Mbps upload. It is recommended for browsing, emails, social media, streaming music, SD and HD video. It is not suitable for 4K streaming and may not be suitable for online gaming.
It is a requirement of TPG Home Wireless Broadband Services that customers must use the included 4G compatible modem to be able to use this service. If you cancel your plan within 24 months of connecting, you will need to return the modem to TPG. If you do not return the modem within 21 days of providing notice to cancel your Home Wireless Broadband service, then you will be charged a modem non-return fee. This modem non-return fee covers the pro-rated cost of the TPG Home Wireless Broadband Modem.
The SIM supplied with the modem will not work in any other device and must not be removed from the modem.
The Home Wireless Broadband Service is only available in selected areas on the Vodafone 4G Network with the modem supplied by TPG. There may also be technical or commercial reasons that affect your ability to access the service at your address. Coverage availability will vary depending on your device and location. A service qualification and coverage check based on your address will be conducted before your order is accepted. The service qualification (SQ) check is an indication that your chosen location is within a 4G Home Wireless Broadband serviceable area, it does not guarantee that your address is 4G serviceable. We recommend that you position your modem close to a window to maximise signal strength. The Home Wireless Broadband service uses the Vodafone 4G Network and is only for use in the single nominated address. The service will be disconnected if TPG identify that you have moved to another location. If you wish to move the service address you will need to contact TPG to check service and network availability at the new location and notify TPG if you wish to set up your service at your new location.

TPG won the 4G Home Wireless Broadband category for the second year running
TPG made its mark on the Australian internet landscape selling cheap ADSL plans, and it's continued this approach with the NBN. While the NBN business model means pricing across providers is reasonably similar, TPG is nonetheless a very competitive player. And the telco is well-respected when it comes to speed, which is a key factor for Australian consumers.

TPG has a reputation for fast and affordable internet. Since the provider entered the scene it has been a strong contender in budget-conscious households.
Even as technology types have changed TPG continues to offer no-frills NBN and Fibre to the Building at a cost well within reach for most Australians. While it isn't the fastest provider around, TPG offers consistently great speeds on excellent value plans.
On the other hand, TPG's private Fibre to the Building connections offer the best of both worlds with sky-high speeds at far cheaper prices than comparable NBN plans.

If you would like to save a little extra, you opt for a contract to have your set-up fees waived. TPG NBN plans are available on either a six-month contract or on a month-to-month basis. If you go month-to-month, you'll need to pay a $99.95 set-up fee.
All TPG NBN plans include pay-as-you-go calls, but you can add unlimited calls for a nominal monthly fee. This covers local, standard national, and national mobile numbers.
TPG also has cheap NBN 12 plans with capped data allowances, if you're looking to save further. Most will be better off with an unlimited plan, however, especially because your speeds will be shaped to as low as 32Kbps if you go over your allowance. That's slower than dial-up.
If you’re still keen on home phones, TPG internet may be for you. TPG has home phone bundles with NBN and Fibre to the Building internet plans. You can choose to pay-as-you-go, or choose from national and international call options.
To find out if you're eligible for a TPG NBN plan, first check your address in our broadband search engine. If TPG is listed in the search results, congratulations: you can make the switch.
Once you've picked a plan that works for you and your family, you can place an order directly with TPG either by phone or online. TPG will help you to organise an installation date and time, plus take care of transferring any current broadband plan you may have over to its NBN service.
TPG will provide you with an NBN-ready modem as part of your plan.
Another important thing to note: while installation is free for most customers, if you're located in a newly developed area with no existing telecommunications infrastructure, you may be charged a $300 New Development Fee by NBN Co.
How fast are TPG NBN plans?
TPG sells plans configured on NBN 12, NBN 50, and NBN 100 speed tiers. You can read more information NBN speeds here.
What are my data options?
Most TPG NBN plans have unlimited, but you can pick from 10GB or 100GB plans if you're signing up for an NBN 12 plan.
What happens if I exceed my data allowance?
If you exceed your data allowance, TPG will slow your internet connection for the remainder of your billing month. On the 10GB plan, you'll be slowed to 32Kbps. On the 100GB plan, you'll be slowed to 128Kbps.
Do I need to buy a new modem to sign up to TPG?
If you already have an NBN-ready modem or router that is suitable for your technology type, you can use it with any TPG NBN plan. TPG internet plans do however include pre-configured, ready-to-use modems.
What happens if I want to cancel my TPG NBN plan?
If you want to cancel your TPG NBN plan and have signed a six-month contract, you will be charged an early termination fee.
