Vaya Offers unlimited ADSL plans on the low-low

Vaya has started offering ADSL2+ plans, supplanting its former focus on mobile-only broadband and super competitive SIM Only mobile plans.

The new fixed-line packages come in two options, both of which are for unlimited downloads. One option is for a no-contract month-to-month plan, the other is for a fixed 18 month contract.

Unleash the data

The plans are impressively cheap for unlimited ADSL2+. The Month-to-Month plan is just $45 per month which is amazingly cheap even compared to usual locked-in contracts. The Vaya information pamphlet does state the minimum monthly cost of this plan to be $49. We’re not sure if this is a typo or as the result of a hidden $4 fee.

The 18 month plan is just $39 per month, making it one of the cheapest unlimited ADSL2+ broadband deal we’ve encountered to date. Here's a comparison of some of the unlimited plans in the market right now

If you’d like to lower that cost further, bundling your Home Phone will save you $10 per month, bringing it down to just $29 per month for unlimited data on the 18 month plan. This bundle package includes unlimited local calls and line rental. National and mobile calls are billed on to the plan with zero flagfall fees.

This whole bundle package still costs $39 per month all-up, so don’t think you’ll be only paying $29 per month for phone and broadband.

Naked DSL users should find this bundle option very appealing. Even if you don’t ever use your home phone bundling your house’s phone connection with Vaya ADSL2+ is the cheapest unlimited ADSL option available to you. It doesn’t even matter if you think Vaya home phone is worth it; seeing as you’ll only be using the connection for broadband anyway.

At first Vaya coverage is likely to be limited and not available to all customers.
