Starlink is running a limited time sale cutting the upfront hardware cost by 40% from $599 to $359.
If you've been considering signing up for space internet now might be the right time. You'll only find this offer available when purchasing direct from Starlink, not partners like Telstra.
The sale offer ends July 30.
Starlink's plans are free of contracts and come with a 30-day trial with a full refund minus shipping.
You'll still need to pay the ongoing service cost of $139 per month. Its plan is more expensive than most other satellite internet providers. It can't guarantee faster speeds but does offer between 25 and 270Mbps. It says most users experience speeds over 100Mbps.
Sky Muster Plus Premium plans, however, start at $60 for an NBN 25 plan or $100 per month for an NBN 100 plan. Both Starlink and Sky Muster Plus Premium plans offer unlimited data.
