Starlink has cut the price of the standard Starlink kit by 50%, from $599 to just $299.
The sale offer ends October 12.
You'll also find the standard Starlink kit on sale for as low as $297 from retailers such as JB Hi-Fi, Officeworks, Bunnings and Harvey Norman. If there's stock in a store near you, you could save yourself shipping.
Starlink's service plans come with unlimited standard data and start at $139 per month for the regular residential fixed site plan.
Its plans have no lock-in contract and come with a 30-day trial guarantee. If you're unhappy with the service you're able to request a full refund, minus shipping fees of $30.
Starlink is not the cheapest satellite internet provider in Australia. In terms of speed Starlink offers between 25 and 270Mbps. These speed's aren't guaranteed but Starlink says most of its users experience speeds over 100Mbps.
A Sky Muster Plus Premium plan starts at around $60 for an NBN 25 equivalent plan. The equivalent of an NBN 100 plan starts at around $100 per month.
If you've been unhappy with your Sky Muster service and are curious about Starlink, now might be the right time to try it with lower upfront costs.
