Dodo and iPrimus have joined the raft of NBN providers increasing their typical evening speeds recently, with the pair now both reporting typical evening speeds of 50Mbps on NBN 50 plans and 25Mbps on NBN 25 plans.
Both have also increased their NBN 100 plans, with Dodo now reporting 92Mbps and iPrimus reporting 95Mbps. While they haven't joined the likes of Telstra, Optus, and SpinTel in reporting a full 100Mbps, it nonetheless puts them in the top bracket for NBN 100 evening speeds.
Here's a look at Dodo and iPrimus' current NBN plan range:

Dodo and iPrimus are both owned by the same parent company, Vocus.
Typical evening speeds refer to the NBN performance customers can expect during the busiest times of the day - between 7pm to 11pm. In short, this new speed guidance suggests Dodo and iPrimus customers will be able to get the maximum speeds available on NBN 25 and NBN 50 speed tiers, matter what they want to get online.
Dodo and iPrimus are now part of a group of seven providers reporting typical evening speeds of 50Mbps on NBN 50 plans. While also includes more premium providers like Aussie Broadband and Telstra, Dodo comes in at the more affordable side of the pricing spectrum.
At present, you'll pay $58.90 per month for your first six months on Dodo, and $75 per month thereafter. You've got the choice of either committing to a 12-month contract or paying a $120 modem fee. SpinTel is a hair more expensive at $59 per month for your first six months, but cheaper after the discount runs out at $64.95 per month. iPrimus bills $75 per month and doesn't currently have a discount, but plans come with a $70 modem fee.

As always, it is worth remembering that factors like in-home wiring and equipment can result in lower speeds than expected. In addition, customers on FTTN plans will be limited to the maximum speeds their connection can achieve. Some FTTN connections can even struggle to get 50Mbps.
