Telstra MVNO Boost Mobile will start offering NBN plans "soon", under a new Boost Broadband brand. While Boost has yet to detail key information like plan pricing or a launch time frame, the telco has said it will have offers for existing mobile customers.

Existing customers will be offered "a range of benefits" for swapping to a Boost Broadband plan, while new Boost Broadband customers will be able to take advantage of "special" mobile deals. The telco has yet to provide further details, however.

NBN and mobile bundles aren't too common, but a small number of providers currently offer them. Vodafone customers with both an NBN and mobile plan can save on their monthly NBN bill, for example. TPG NBN customers can get a cheaper price on a TPG prepaid plan, while iiNet NBN customers get extra mobile data.

While Boost Mobile resells access Telstra's mobile network, it isn't partnering with Big T for its internet offering. Instead, it will work with BTB Australia, a telco that specialises in wholesale NBN.
