Amazon has cut the price of its recently launched eero Pro 7 router by 30% as part of its Prime Big Deals Day sale. While Amazon normally charges $529.99 for an eero Pro 7 or $1,199.99 for a three-pack, you can get a single unit for $370.99 right now or three for $839.99.

As the sale name might suggest, you need to be an Amazon Prime member to get these deals, but you can always sign up for a 30-day free trial.

The eero Pro 7 is currently one of our top recommendations for WiFi 7 routers especially for larger homes where mesh could be useful. In our review, we said the "eero Pro 7 is a great WiFi mesh system if you’re looking to futureproof your home network".

"You can feasibly get by with a single, appropriately priced unit or blanket a larger home with a three-pack. Everything’s easy to set up and expand."

The eero Pro 7 is a tri-band router, has support for internet connections as fast as 5Gbps, and offers WiFi speeds of up to 3.6Gbps.

With last month's NBN speed upgrades, old networking hardware has repeatedly been identified as a potential concern that could prevent users from getting the new and improved speeds. While a WiFi 5 router should still be fine for NBN 500 plans, we wouldn't recommend buying a new one given how old the tech is. We'd recommend WiFi 6 at a minimum for NBN 1000 and WiFi 7 for NBN 2000.
