How we judge this award
A full year of monthly scoring across every broadband category decides this award. Between July 2025 and June 2026, WhistleOut recorded the top three plans in each internet category every month, awarding three points for first place, two for second and one for third. Those points accumulate for every provider across the full 12 months, and the provider with the highest running total when the year closes becomes Internet Provider of the Year. Where two providers finish level on points, the tie is broken first by the number of monthly first place finishes each recorded, then second place finishes, then third, so the result reflects sustained performance across the year rather than a single strong month.
