The Motorola RAZR is a high end Android 2.3.5 device that takes a slightly different approach to physical design that some of the handsets we’ve previously seen from Motorola. Its sharp edges with just slightly contoured corners make for a more intriguing first impression than a device like the Motorola Atrix, but where the RAZR truly sets itself aesthetically apart is with its profile.
The HTC EVO 3D is a top-end Android Gingerbread device currently being offered by HTC that employs a slightly difference focus than that of a traditional smartphone. Instead of aiming solely at providing a better, yet similar experience for its users, the HTC EVO 3D has another trick up its sleeve. This device not only allows its users to view certain images and movies in glasses-free 3D, but can also take 3D photos and record 3D movies.
You’ve probably heard by now that Motorola is resurrecting its once mighty RAZR product line. Of course Moto has taken a slightly more modern design approach, ditching the iconic RAZR flip-phone form factor for a slate-style smartphone template. LG has announced one of their next smartphones – the LG Optimus Sol. Hardware-wise the Optimus Sol is far from unimpressive. A single-core 1GHz CPU won’t turn too many heads, but it’s still a fast and solid processor for a smartphone. 512MB of RAM should be enough to handle most multitasking and a 5MP camera is pretty standard for today’s smartphone market.
The HTC Wildfire S is a small, budget smartphone available exclusively on the Telstra network in Australia. Unlike most network-exclusive handsets, the HTC Wildfire S will not actually function on any 3G network other than Telstra’s, but will still offer standard calling and texts on other carriers.
The HTC ChaCha (aka the HTC Status in the US) is one of the new breed of Facebook/Social Media centric phones we’re starting to see crop up around the place. However, unlike during the INQ Cloud Touch review we did a couple of weeks back, we were pleased to discover that HTC managed to not only make an easily navigable interface, but a responsive one as well.
