Aussies are everywhere in Hollywood at the moment, hiding in plain sight.
No, we're not talking about Cate Blanchett, Margot Robbie, the Hemsworths or Russell Crowe. We're talking Aussie actors you either forgot or didn't realise were from Down Under and star in an upcoming film or TV series. Actors like Lily Sullivan, who, according to Justwatch data, has seen a spike in interest ever since the trailer for her upcoming sci-fi thriller Soulm8te was released.
We've been crawling through the streaming charts to find more Aussie actors who are making a splash in Hollywood at the moment. Here's who we've found.
Lily Sullivan
Lily Sullivan is a rising star in Hollywood but originally hails from Brisbane, Queensland.
Previously, she's starred alongside Daniel Radcliffe in Jungle, appeared in six episodes of the Aussie Romper Stomper TV series, co-starred with Natalie Dormer (Game of Thrones) in six episodes of the 2018 remake Picnic at Hanging Rock, was cast in the Aussie-Indie film Monolith and also Evil Dead Rise.
But most recently, the title that has us the most excited is her appearance in Soulm8te, a 2026 horror spin-off of the wildly popular AI robot duo M3GAN and M3GAN 2.0.
Soulm8te was meant to release in January, but Universal pulled it from the release calendar after M3GAN 2.0 bombed at the Box Office. Despite that, it's heavily rumoured to be coming out in cinemas around August 2026.
M3GAN 2.0 is currently streaming on Netflix and Binge while M3GAN is available to rent or buy on services like Prime Video.

Soulm8te

Language: English | Rating: MA15+
Genre: Psychological sci-fi thriller
Claudia Doumit
Another breakout Aussie actor will be joining Lily Sullivan in Soulm8te: Claudia Doumit. Seemingly everywhere right now, Doumit scored occassional guest roles early on in her career in sitcoms like New Girl and Mike & Molly and a recurring role in the Shonda Rhimes political thriller, Scandal.
Funnily enough, Doumit's big break didn't come from any one TV show or movie, but rather as the lead character in a video game - 2019's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Soon after, Amazon Prime Video's superpowered phenomenon The Boys really put Doumit on the map, thanks to her incredible turn as Congresswoman Victoria Neuman (a role she reprised for spin-off Gen V).
Not only will Doumit join the main cast of the upcoming second season of Netflix's epic sci-fi series The 3 Body Problem, but she also stars in Sydney Film Festival hit, The Fox, an Aussie comedy starring Jai Courtney, Emily Browning and the late, great Sir Sam Neill.
The Boys recently wrapped its fifth and final season. All five seasons and two seasons of Gen V are available to stream now on Amazon Prime Video.

Ben Mendelsohn
With his impressive portfolio of films — The Dark Knight Rises, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Darkest Hour, the 2018 Robin Hood, Ready Player One, The King, Spider-Man: Far from Home — it's shockingly easy to forget Ben Mendelsohn calls Melbourne home.
Despite having several other films and even video game voice work on the go, his role as Pastor Ron in Roofman, starring Channing Tatum, Kirsten Dunst and Peter Dinklage, is one not to be missed!

Samara Weaving
Although she's moved around a lot in her life, Samara Weaving was still born in Adelaide, South Australia, so she counts!
The young actress has starred in many well-known films, including Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, Scream VI, Babylon and Ash vs Evil Dead. Interestingly, she also appeared alongside two fellow Australians — Lily Sullivan and Madeleine Madden — in Picnic at Hanging Rock.
Her latest film with Jason Segal and Timothy Olyphant, Over Your Dead Body, became available to stream now on Prime Video in June 2026.
But if you prefer full-blown horror to psychological comedy thrillers, we suggest checking out the Ready or Not sequel Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, which was released in cinemas this year and is now available to stream on Disney Plus.

Sam Worthington
Ok we'll admit, it's a little harder to forget Sam Worthington comes from the Lucky Country. He's so Australian, he married Lara "where the bloody hell are you?" Bingle.
Sam Worthington has starred in much more than just Clash of the Titans and the Avatar franchise.
Most recently, Sam Worthington captivated audiences as David Burroughs, a man who was wrongfully sentenced to prison for the brutal murder of his son. But when new evidence comes to light that his son may still be alive, a daring prison escape and mission ensues to not only clear his name but reunite with his son.
I Will Find You is an 8-episode TV mini-series currently available to stream on Netflix.

One of her latest projects, All Her Fault, will have you on the edge of your seat and believing every moment of the drama truly happened to her. This eight-episode TV mini-series follows the emotional, interwoven investigation into the disappearance of the child Milo Irvine. Sarah, who plays Milo's mother Marissa, becomes entangled in secrets, lies and deceptions by those closest to her in search for her son who mysteriously vanishes.

Jai Courtney
Featuring in HUGE films like War Machine, Suicide Squad, Divergent and Terminator Genisys, Jai Courtney actually grew up in good ol' Sydney, New South Wales.
So what's he been working on lately? Well, surely you'd recognise him in the incredibly popular Yellowstone spin-off series, Dutton Ranch, as Rob-Will alongside Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser. Courtney also stars in The Fox this year, an original Aussie comedy about a man who tries to get his unfaithful wife back with the help of a talking fox.
Dutton Ranch is available to stream on Paramount Plus and has just been greenlit for a second season.

Milly Alcock
It's impossible to write a list of Aussies on the rise without mentioning Milly Alcock, the latest actor to wear the Supergirl costume. Although she's had a busy career here in Australia - featuring in A Place to Call Home, Pine Gap, The Gloaming, Reckoning and more - she first gained global recognition for her leading role as a young Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen in the first season of House of the Dragon.
Just how Aussie is she? Well, she recently donated $10,000 so the Petersham Bowlo could build an accessible ramp for wheelchair access. So pretty bloody Austrayan if you ask us.
Supergirl hasn't set a streaming date yet, but when it does, it will call HBO Max home, which is precisely where you'll find House of the Dragon and Superman (where Alcock's Kara Zor-El first appeared).
