Between three formats – Test, One Day International (ODI), and T20 – mainstay and emerging teams, men's and women's leagues, as well as under-19 bouts, there's a lot of ICC World Cup Cricket going around. For women's cricket, the big event this year is the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup 2025, which is an ODI tournament. And while the warm-up matches weren't televised, you can catch all of the action with a Prime Video subscription.
Where can I stream the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup?
To watch the ICC Women's World Cup 2025 in Australia, the most straightforward way is with a Prime Video subscription. Prime has the exclusive streaming rights for all ICC-labelled events in Australia until at least 2028, so grab a subscription to watch matches live, on demand, or as part of highlights packages.
Prime Video has a 30-day free trial for new sign-ups. From there, it's a simplified choice of a monthly or annual subscription. Pay either $9.99 per month for Prime Video or $79 per year upfront (roughly $6.58 per month). You can also pay $2.99 per month on top to remove ads for on-demand Prime TV shows and movies, but that won't impact your sports experience, which will still have ads.
The real beauty of paying for Prime Video is that you get other bundled perks. For eligible Amazon orders, a Prime subscription means free expedited delivery, which includes millions of international products. A Prime sub also comes with gaming, music, and reading perks. There are rarely any further discounts on Amazon's subscription service but there are a few related Prime Video deals for subscribers.
If you don't want to pay for Prime Video but you do have an active virtual private network (VPN) subscription, you can watch the ICC Women's World Cup 2025 for free (plus other men's and women's cricket). First, sign up for a free ICC.tv account. Then use a VPN that works well with streaming, and connect to a server in one of the countries listed on the ICC.tv website to unlock ICC Women's World Cup 2025 streaming.
When can I stream the Australian women's cricket team matches?
The round-robin group stage of the ICC Women's World Cup 2025 tournament takes place between September 30 and October 26 2025. Once each team has played every other team once, the top four teams go through to the semifinals on October 29 and October 30. The two winners of the semis face off in the ICC Women's World Cup 2025 final on 2 November.
If you're following the Australian women's cricket team, there are at least seven matches as part of the group stages. Australia is comfortably ranked top of the world in ODIs (not to mention T20s), so there's a good chance they'll be in the semifinals and (hopefully) the final. What is Prime Video?
Prime Video is one component of an Amazon Prime subscription. You can use a Prime Video subscription to watch original or popular TV shows and movies. In terms of sports, Prime Video is primarily the home of ICC tournaments for cricket fans and, as of 2025, NBA for basketball lovers.
How does Prime Video compare?
As an on-demand video streaming service, Prime Video holds its own against the likes of Netflix, Stan, and Apple TV Plus because of competitive pricing and an expanding library of quality content. You can have up to three simultaneous streams with a Prime Video subscription, but you can only stream the same video simultaneously on two devices (including sports). As a sports streaming service, Prime Video is incredibly light on.
Up until 2025, the only reason to have a Prime Video subscription for sports was if you're a cricket fan. Even then, that only covers ICC tournaments, which means a lot of popular cricket can't be found on Prime Video. The lack of sports is being addressed, though, most notably with the inclusion of NBA matches from 2025.
While Kayo Sports and Kayo offer select sports streaming at 4K resolution, Prime Video sports are typically relegated to 1080p. For the included cricket and basketball matches, sports are streamed live, and full match replays or highlights packages are typically available shortly after a broadcast ends. If you want more sports on Prime Video, you'll have to pay for one of the add-ons, like beIN Sports.
Compare Prime Video to other popular sports streaming services.
Is Prime Video compatible with my device?
Prime Video is supported on a wide range of devices, including smartphones and TVs. Still, not every popular device supports Prime Video. Check out the table below for an idea of which devices are compatible with Prime Video as well as other sports streaming services.
