Every boxing match has something special, something significant that makes it stand out among the rest. And the WBO International Super Welterweight title fight happening this month is no exception. Here is everything you need to know about this boxing event, including the who, what, when, where, and how to stream it:
Where can I stream the Tszyu vs. Diaz boxing match?
Like the vast majority of live boxing matches, having a paid subscription service isn't enough. Foxtel, Foxtel Now and Kayo Sports will have the four prelim fights, but the main card will only be available as a pay-per-view (PPV) Main Event, a standalone cost, separate from your subscription fee.
If you're subscribed to a Foxtel package with Sports, you will be required to pay an additional $59.99 to view the boxing match via its Main Event channel. Here's how Foxtel Now's sports packages compare:
Fortunately, you don't even need a Kayo Sports subscription to also purchase a pay-per-view (PPV) event. However, you will be required to use a credit card to purchase the PPV event and you cannot use a third-party app like Telstra or Apple to access it.
Here's how much Kayo subscriptions do cost, if you're interested in other sports:
Yes, new customers are entitled to a seven-day free trial to see if they like Kayo before paying for it.
However, if you want to lock in a reduced price for Kayo that'll last a little longer, check out our Kayo deals guide for an updated list of price-slashing discounts.
What you need to know about the Tszyu vs. Diaz boxing match
Nikita Tszyu, son of world champion boxer Kostya Tszyu and the younger brother of boxer Tim Tszyu, is an Aussie boxer vying to end Oscar Diaz's current undefeated streak. Diaz is currently ranked #15 in the world and hails from Spain.
Nikita Tszyu, by comparison, currently has 11 wins to his name (9 by knock-out), 0 draws and 0 losses.
The Tszyu vs. Diaz fight will go down on Australian soil, specifically at the Newcastle Entertainment Centre in Newcastle, New South Wales.
Prelim fights start at 5pm AEST, while the main card starts at 7pm AEST. If you're just tuning in for Tszyu vs. Diaz, they could touch gloves anywhere from 8:00pm AEST to 9:00pm AEST, depending on how many rounds the other main card fights last for. It's usually best to tune in from the start of the main card, particularly when you're paying a premium price for it.
Where can I stream other boxing events?
Besides via Kayo and Foxtel's Main Event channel, DAZN is your other option for streaming other boxing matches. For an idea of how DAZN compare, here are its subscription tier prices:
What is Kayo Sports?
Kayo Sports is a standalone version of the Sports add-on that Foxtel Now boasts. With a Kayo Sport subscription, you'll get access to the greatest number of sports in Australia, including AFL, NRL, cricket, tennis, and American sports like NFL, basketball, and baseball.
How does Kayo Sports compare?
Kayo is still the best sports streaming service in Australia if you're after a vast quantity of bot popular and niche sports. While Kayo's price continues creeping up, it is the only place to watch the vast majority of AFL, NRL, and cricket matches in Australia.
It's improved since launch, offering a mix of live channels – including dedicated options for popular sports – individually highlighted live matches and replays. For popular sports, the replays are typically available as full matches or shorter 'Minis' (highlights packages). If you miss a live match that you're keen to experience fresh, Kayo has a no-spoilers toggle that's well worth enabling. Alternatively, skip to key match moments on longer replays.
Most Kayo content streams at Full HD resolution, but more 4K content is appearing for Kayo Premium subscribers, most notably for AFL and NRL matches. Like Netflix and other entertainment streaming services, Kayo also offers use profiles, which helps personalise the sports you're being fed on the homepage. And if you've got a compatible device, Kayo also offers SplitView so you can stream multiple sports at the same time on the one screen.

Editor's pick: Great NBN 100 plans for streaming
Kayo requires up to 25Mbps of available download speed to stream at 4K resolution. On Kayo you can stream to multiple devices with the highest-tier respective subscriptions, so you could get away with an NBN 50 plan.
However, that leaves little to nothing left for anyone else in your household. In light of this, we recommend using an NBN 100 plan as a minimum for sports streaming at home in up to 4K fidelity (even if UFC fights are rarely broadcast at 4K resolution).
Here's a list of popular NBN 100 plans from our database.
Is Kayo Sports compatible with my device?
Kayo Sports has a good selection of compatible streaming devices, but it doesn't support every platform. For a full breakdown of device compatibility on sports streaming services in Australia, check out the table below:
