The 98th Academy Awards, or the Oscars, has its nominees, host and presenters locked and loaded ahead of the big night (or big morning if you're watching from Australia). Host Conan O'Brien will be joined by presenters such as Rose Byrne, Nicole Kidman, Delroy Lindo, Wagner Moura, Lewis & Bill Pullman, and many more when the awards are announced next week. Here's everything you need to know if you're tuning in from Australia.
How to watch the 98th Academy Awards in Australia

This year's Academy Awards are particularly exciting because Ryan Coogler's Sinners has made history with a whopping 16 nominations, the most Academy nominations any movie has ever received. Prior to Sinners, James Cameron's Titanic and Damien Chazelle's La La Land were tied for the most nominations, each securing 14 nods in their respective years.
Sinners also has some stiff competition with Paul Thomas Anderson's One Battle After Another, which managed to lock down 13 nominations of its own. Frankenstein, Marty Supreme and Sentimental Value will all put up a fight too, with nine nominations each. The recently released Hamnet joins the list for Best Picture too, with eight nominations overall.
There won't be as much entertainment to break up the night as usual but you can still look forward to live performances of KPop Demon Hunters' hit track Golden and I Lied To You, the bluesy time-travelling interlude from Sinners.
There will also be the first new category in 25 years: Best Achievement in Casting. The inaugral nominees include Nina Gold for Hamnet, Jennifer Venditti for Marty Supreme, Cassandra Kulukundis for One Battle After Another, Gabriel Domingues for The Secret Agent and Francine Maisler for Sinners.
