Pay back your friends using Siri and PayPal

Good news iPhone owners, you can now holler at Siri to send you friends money through PayPal. If you're running iOS 10, you're now able to issue voice commands like "Hey Siri, send Joe $5 using PayPal" to finally pay your friends back for that beer that one time.

While voice-controlled payments might seem like a security risk, it's worth noting that your iPhone must be unlocked for PayPal to actually process a transaction.

Internationally, peer-to-peer payment services like Square Cash already have Siri integration, but PayPal is the first to add this feature in Australia.

Siri's PayPal integration is possible thanks to iOS 10, where Apple finally opened Siri up to third party developers. As such, you'll need to be running on iOS 10 on your iPhone or iPad if you want to transfer money with the power of your voice alone. If you haven't upgraded to iOS 10 yet, here's how.
