The Black Friday sale period is the perfect time to find a deal on that item that's been sitting in your online basket for the last few months. In some cases, this might be a shiny new phone.

It's also a decent time to shop around for essentials. Telcos are even slinging their mobile plans at you with some neat discounts.

Here are some of the best Black Friday phone and mobile deals we've seen.

Vodafone Black Friday mobile plan deals

Vodafone's Black Friday deals are well worth a look at. It's discounting a range of phones on a plan.

Optus Black Friday mobile plan deals

Optus has a few different offers going for Black Friday.

The biggest is a $1,000 digital gift card when you sign up for a Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5, Z Fold 5 or S23 Ultra plan and trade in an eligible device.

For the incredibly data-hungry it's offering its Promo plan with 500GB per month for $69 a month for the first 12 months, then $89 per month ongoing:
