Tangerine is the latest Australian telco to offer bundle discounts to customers who take up both an NBN plan and mobile plan.
As long as a subscriber has an active Tangerine NBN plan, they'll receive a 10% discount on all mobile plans and mobile broadband plans on their account.
Tangerine's mobile plans start at $22 per month for a 12GB plan but get as expensive as $58 per month, so savings can range between $2.20 and $5.80. Here are Tangerine's mobile plans:
Note that Tangerine's $27 per month will increase in price from November 29 to $29 per month. It will get 5G, however.
Tangerine mobile plans are powered by the Telstra network. All plans support data baking and are contract-free. Currently, plans from $33 per month and up have 5G connectivity.
Here are Tangerine's NBN plans:
Tangerine's bundle discount will be automatically applied to existing customers who already have a mobile and NBN plan on the same account.
Unless you're on a high value Tangerine mobile plan, its bundle discount isn't quite as high value as what competitors offer. Vodafone, TPG, iiNet, Superloop, and Exetel all have a starting saving of $5 per month on bundle plans.
Tangerine does however allow customers to bundle as many mobile and mobile broadband plans as they want, so the savings can increase.
