Until the end of April, new Aussie Broadband customers can get $10 per month off its residential NBN 100/20 and 100/40 plans, and $20 off its NBN 250 and NBN 1000 plans.
You'll need to use the promo codes SWITCH10 or SWITCH20 for their respective discounts. The deal pricing lasts for the first six months after you sign up, at which point they return to the regular monthly fees.
All the plans come with unlimited data and can easily handle 4K UHD video streaming, large file downloads, and several simultaneous users – great for large families and share houses.
If you work from home, consider the additional upload speeds of the NBN 100/40 plan (34Mbps), which are even faster than the NBN 250 plan (21Mbps). These speeds can be useful for saving files to business cloud storage or sending them directly to your contacts, among other things.
And while you don’t necessarily need a plan with the best upload speeds for video calls, knowing you’ll have enough Mbps to spare can help make sure your meetings go smoothly – though it can’t stop you leaving your microphone on mute.
The NBN 250 and NBN 1000 plans are more aimed at large houses with high usage demands, people who regularly download huge amounts of data, and enthusiasts.
Whichever plan you choose, this is a solid deal if you're after an Aussie Broadband plan, but you still might consider comparing them to the rest of the market.
