Amazon drops festive Fallout special ahead of Season 2 premiere

One week before Fallout's highly-anticipated second season premieres on Amazon Prime Video, the streamer has released a fun and festive 90-minute special titled The Ghoul Log. Before you get your hopes up, The Ghoul Log is more of an ambient experience. A Fallout-tinged take on the those virtual Yule Log experiences offered on Netflix.

With that said, there is a brief cameo by Walton Goggins' Ghoul aka Cooper Howard and his canine companion Dogmeat. There's also some funny narration from Mr. Las Vegas himself, Wayne Newton, and some chill 50s-style tunes to accompany the Ghoul arm crackling in the fireplace.

You can watch the special on Amazon Prime Video. Plans start at $9.99 per month but you'll need to pay an additional $3 per month if you want to remove ads.

Fallout: Season 2 premieres on Amazon Prime Video on Wednesday, December 17. Episodes will be released weekly until the eighth and final episode of the season releases February 4, 2026.
