What is The Rings of Power Season 3 about?

While news of The Rings of Power Season 3 is still quite fresh, we do have a loose idea of what to expect. Season 3 is said to pick up several years after the events of Season 2, at the height of the War of the Elves and Sauron (Charlie Vickers). Die-hard fans already know what's in store, as Sauron sets out to craft the One Ring to gain the upper hand and, ultimately, rule all of Middle-earth.

We also know that at least the first episode of Season 3 will be directed by Charlotte Brändström, who has helmed some of the series' very best episodes, including Season 1's sixth episode, "Udûn".

All sixteen episodes of The Rings of Power Seasons 1 and 2 are available to stream now on Amazon Prime Video.
