McDonald's Australia has announced a partnership with Binge and Kayo Sports that will allow MyMaccas' Rewards users to spend points on extended streaming subscriptions.
At 10,000 points, new and returning Binge customers can score six months of Binge Basic (the one with ads) for free. Binge Basic is usually $10 per month, so you're effectively saving $60 if you spend your MyMaccas reward points on a Binge subscription. Kayo Sports is on board too but you've got to use more points to get a lot less. You can burn 12,000 points in the MyMaccas rewards app for one month of Kayo Sports Premium (usually $45.99 per month).
McDonald's customers can earn 100 points for every dollar spent at McDonald's. Typically, those points are spent on things like a free cheeseburger or fries (6,000 points each), but this partnership with Binge lets you spend those points on a few months of free streaming.
To put it into context, you're looking at roughly 160 Chicken McNuggets, or 200 Soft Serve cones, to get six months of Binge for free.
Speaking on the partnership, Managing Director of Binge, Cate Hefele, had this to say:
"MyMacca’s members will now have our range of premium, world-class entertainment at their fingertips. There’s no better pairing than great entertainment and your favourite meal, and this partnership with McDonald’s brings together two locally iconic brands to elevate your everyday experience..”
The offer is available within the MyMaccas app until January 15, 2027, and must be redeemed on Binge by January 31, 2027.
