Almost every Foxtel channel pack is heavily discounted for the next month if you commit to a 12 month plan. This 'Winter Sale' ends on August 31, the day before the provider ups its prices for customers not locked in to a contract, making it ideal timing for anyone keen on committing.
Discounts are available across the Platinum Plus, Sports + Movies, Sport, and Movies packs. These range from $51 per month on the high end, down to $29 on the low, meaning users can save up to $612 over the course of the year. Here are what these discounts look like;
| Plan | RRP | Discounted price | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Foxtel Plus | $73 | No discount | Go to site |
| Movies | $98 | $69 | Go to site |
| Sport | $103 | $64 | Go to site |
| Sport + Movies | $133 | $84 | Go to site |
| Platinum Plus | $145 | $94 | Go to site |
Each of the above plans come with a HBO Max Basic Plan with Ads, and an iQ4 or iQ5 box.
These deals are only available for new customers, but it will lock in this low price for the next 12 months after which the price will rise by $5 from the RRP. For Platinum Plus subs, this will result in a jarring $56 per month increase. Once the 12-month contract period is over, users are free to cancel their service and send back the iQ box, however Foxtel is known for great retention offers, so who knows how that would play out.
