Disney Plus subscribers can earn over 3,500 Qantas Frequent Flyer points

Until April 15, Qantas is offering three times the amount of Frequent Flyer points it usually offers when you sign up for Disney Plus through Qantas itself. Before we get into how, here's how much Disney's subscription tiers usually cost:

How to earn Qantas Frequent Flyer points with Disney Plus

By subscribing to Disney Plus via Qantas Shopping, you can earn up to 3,553 Frequent Flyer points, depending on your chosen plan. This offer is only available to new Disney Plus subscribers and cannot be used to reactivate a new account.

Usually, Qantas offers 5 points for every $1 spent via Qantas Shopping, but for a limited time only, it's offering 17 points for every $1 spent.

So you will earn 255 points for a month of Disney Plus Standard ($15.99), but if you buy a Disney Plus Premium Annual Pass ($209.99), you will earn 3,553 points. Here's how many Qantas Frequent Flyer points you would usually earn vs. can now earn with the increased points offer:

What can I get with those points?

3,553 Frequent Flyer points alone won't get you much, but it will get you a lot closer to rewards such as a heavily discounted ($38.89) Sydney to Brisbane flight, which costs 5,700 points. You can also put the points towards seat upgrades, hotels, wine, entertainment and various shopping discounts.

What is Qantas Shopping?

Qantas Shopping is an online platform where the airline giant offers free Frequent Flyer points when purchases are made on all manner of things via links to external brands. Qantas Shopping works with over 450 brands across many product categories, which include (but are certainly not limited to) fashion, jewellery, beauty products, toys, baby products, leisure, electronics, furniture, games and much more.

For example, say you wanted to purchase a new Shark vacuum. By simply clicking through to the Shark website via Qantas Shopping, you'll earn two Frequent Flyer points for every $1 you spend on the Shark website.

Every brand offers a different point amount per $1 spent, and some offer increased points for a limited time only, much like this Disney Plus offer as mentioned above.
