What is Our Flag Means Death about?

Our Flag Means Death very loosely follows the real life of Stede Bonnet, a wealthy landowner who ditches his wife and kids in exchange for a life of piracy. Stede, played by Rhys Darby seeks to become a different sort of pirate, the Gentleman Pirate. Yes - midlife crises in the 1700s could be just as rough (if not rougher) as they are in today's modern world.

Captain Bonnet sets out with his crew on the ship Revenge but things quickly go south as they tend to do when it comes to piracy. Things are set for a shake-up when the infamous Edward "Ed" Teach AKA Blackbeard (played by Taika Waititi) decides to find out just what kind of stuff this gentlemanly pirate and his crew are made of.

How many episodes are there in Our Flag Means Death Season Two?

Our Flag Means Death season one consisted of 10 episodes but our plucky band of traditional pirates will only be back for eight episodes for season two.
