What is American Horror Story about?
American Horror Story is a mind-bending and uncomfortable horror TV series that is not for the faint-hearted. It comes from the twisted minds of Brad Falchuk, Ryan Murphy and Halley Feiffer. Each season usually features recurring cast members in new roles with every season focusing on a distinct theme, sometimes based on real-life events.
For example, Season 3 (Coven), explores not only the history behind the Salem Witch Trials but also the immortal Voodoo Queen, Marie Laveau, the sadistic 19th century socialite, Madame Delphine LaLaurie plus the 1919 New Orleans serial killer, The Axeman.
This upcoming season is particularly intriguing, especially to long-time fans of the series, as several key cast members who have been out of the series for some time are set to make a triumphant return.
Creator: Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, | Cast: Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Emma Roberts, Frances Conroy, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe
Language: English | Rating: MA15+ (seasons 1-3, 7), R18+ (seasons 4-6, 8)
Genre: Drama, Sci-Fi, Psychological Horror, Body Horror, Supernatural Horror... Just Horror
Available on: Binge from September 25
