Zootopia 2 is now streaming on Disney Plus in Australia

Oscar-nominee Zootopia 2 finished its 2025 theatrical release at second place on the Worldwide Box Office rankings, beating out other heavy-hitters from the same Disney stable, like Avatar: Fire and Ash and the live-action release of Lilo & Stitch. If you missed it on the big screen, Zootopia 2 is now streaming on Disney Plus in Australia.

How to watch Zootopia 2 in Australia

Zootopia 2 got a digital home release on services like Apple TV back in January, a couple of months after its November 2025 theatrical release. Now it's available to stream on demand via Disney Plus. Disney Plus plans come in two flavours: Standard gets you High Definition streaming on two devices for $15.99 per month, while Premium gets you 4K streaming on up to four devices for $20.99 per month. The first Zootopia is also available to stream on Disney Plus.

There are several ways to avoid paying full price for Disney Plus, including opting for an upfront annual plan. Annual Standard costs $159.99 per year upfront, saving you $31.90 over 12 months. Annual Premium costs $209.99 per year upfront, saving you $41.90 over 12 months.

If you'd prefer to avoid an ongoing subscription, Zootopia 2 will cost you $19.99 to buy through Apple TV. Alternatively, you can buy the Zootopia 2-Movie Collection, which includes both films for a once-off payment of $29.99.

What is Zootopia 2 about?

Picking up shortly after the events of the first movie, Zootopia 2 catches officer Judy Hopps (Ginnifer Goodwin) and crook-turned-cop Nick Wilde (Jason Bateman) in their first official week as partners at the ZPD (Zootopia Police Department). Their career together is off to a rocky start, and the two are forced to take couples therapy if they're to continue working together. Little do they know their biggest test is yet to come. When a rogue snake arrives in Zootopia, Hopps and Wilde are led down a rabbit hole as they uncover more corruption and a conspiracy involving the ultra-wealthy Lynxley family and a devious cover-up that spans generations.

Joining fan-favourite furries are the new Mayor, Brian Winddancer (Warburton), conspiracy nut Nibbles Maplestick (Feimster), therapist Dr Fuzzby (Brunson), failson Pawburt Lynxley (Samberg) and the super sweet showstealer Gary De'Snake (Quan).
