How (and when) to watch the 83rd Golden Globes live in Australia

Awards season officially kicked off with the Critic's Choice awards, where Paul Thomas Anderson's One Battle After Another took home Best Picture. This week is when things really start to heat up, with the 83rd Golden Globes taking place on Monday, January 12.

How to watch the 83rd Golden Globes (2026) in Australia

Here in Australia, the only was to officially watch the 2026 Golden Globes live is with a Paramount Plus subscription. Paramount Plus plans start at $7.99 per month for ad-supported HD streaming on a single device and can cost up to $17.99 per month for ad-free 4K streaming on up to four devices. With that said, the official live broadcast of the Golden Globes already features advertisements and it's not clear exactly what experience ad-free Paramount Plus subscribers in Australia will have once the awards live stream begins.
