Avatar: The Last Airbender
TV series | June 25
After the disaster that was M. Night Shyamalan's The Last Airbender, the original anime creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko teamed up with Albert Kim (Percy Jackson and the Olympians) and finally gave Avatar: The Last Airbender the real-life action version it deserved.
With a much better cast, Gordon Cormier (The Stand) as Aang, Kiawentiio (It: Welcome to Derry) as Katara, Ian Ousley (13 Reasons Why) as Sokka and Dallas Liu (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings) as Prince Zuko, the second season looks just as promising as the first.

After being gone for 100 years, Aang returns to a war-torn world where the Fire Nation has run rampant. Watch trailerLittle House on the Prairie
TV series | July 9
Based on the 70s/80s TV series and book of the same name, Netflix's remake of Little House on the Prairie will transport you back in time to the late 19th century but with modern storylines and upgraded filmmaking.
The series is loosely based on the author's own life and details the intricacies of life during this time period as the Ingall family move from Wisconsin to a farm in Midwestern America out on the prairie.
Watch trailerEnola Holmes 3
Movie | July 2026
After two very successful films and a star-studded line-up - with Millie Bobby Brown, Henry Cavill, Helena Bonham Carter, Sam Claflin, Burn Gorman, David Thewlis, Adeel Akhtar - Enola Holmes 3 is on Netflix's horizon for 2026.
Many of the main recurring original cast members are returning (phew!), and we're headed to Malta for this film as Enola's exploits continue to both stir up trouble and solve it.
Watch trailerThe Adventures of Cliff Booth
Movie | August 2026
The latest product of David Fincher and Netflix's longstanding relationship will be a sequel to Quentin Tarantino's 2019 flick Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood. Brad Pitt is set to reprise his role as Rick Dalton's stuntman, Cliff Booth, who has reportedly pivoted into a career as a Hollywood fixer, someone who is hired by studios to cover up celebrity scandals by any means necessary. It should be a hoot.
Tarantino decided against making The Adventures of Cliff Booth, his tenth and "final" film, instead selling the script to Netflix. Timothy Olyphant will also reprise his role as Lancer star James Stacy, while Elizabeth Debicki (Tenet), Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Wonder Man), Carla Gugino (Watchmen) and Scott Caan (Ocean's Eleven) will also appear in undisclosed roles.
Watch trailerRoommates
Movie | Coming soon
Adam Sandler's longstanding relationship with Netflix has become a family affair with the new comedy Roommates, which stars Sandler's daughter, Sadie Sandler. When Devon (Sadie) is sent off to college, she finds a friend and roomie in the cool and kind of crazy Celeste (Chloe East). Like a whirlwind romance, the two become inseperable but by the end of the school term, the cracks begin to show, and their wildly incompatible personalities begin to clash. Roommates also stars Nick Kroll and Natasha Lyonne as Devon's parents, and SNL's Sarah Sherman, who plays the college dean.

TV series | Season 2 Coming soon
3 Body Problem was an intriguing sci-fi concept that captivated audiences instantly and established a cult following fairly quickly. That said, it took two whole years to create a second season, which is due to hit streaming sometime in 2026.
Created by Game of Thrones duo David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, alongside Alexander Woo, Thrones fans will recognise some familiar faces among the cast, like Liam Cunningham (Davos Seaworth) and John Bradley (Samwell Tarley).
We don't know much about Season 2, but it must be promising because Season 3 has already been confirmed.
Watch trailerNobody Wants This
TV series | Season 3 Coming soon
Kristen Bell and Adam Brody are back as TV's most obscure couple: Joanne, an openly agnostic sex podcaster, and Noah, a newly single young rabbi.
Last season, we saw the couple try and mesh their polar opposite lives together, which resulted in MANY awkward encounters with their respective friends, families and communities.
Nobody Wants This offers a fresh, modern take on what it means to date someone well outside your comfort zone.
11817
Movie | Coming soon
One of the most mysterious films coming to Netflix in 2026 is 11817 (a terribly difficult movie to Google). This sci-fi horror film follows a family of four who are sealed inside their home with no way out, limited supplies, and a mysterious threat keeping them inside. It sounds like a premise that would have been a lot scarier pre-COVID. Still, if you're going to relive quarantine, who better to spend it with than the charming duo of Greta Lee (Past Lives) and Wagner Moura (The Secret Agent), who play the two leads.
While you wait, you can check out last year's Brick which has a suspiciously similar premise.
Pride and Prejudice
TV mini-series | Coming soon
In a time where Wuthering Heights is making a comeback at the cinemas and Bridgerton is being binged by the season, Pride & Prejudice is getting its own makeover in the form of a TV mini-series.
Emma Corrin (Lady Chatterley's Lover) is Elizabeth Bennet, who is messily navigating both pride and prejudice alongside the wealthy landowner Mr Darcy, played by Jack Lowden (Dunkirk). This six-episode series is directed by Dolly Alderton (Everything I Know About Love) and will air on Netflix sometime in 2026.
Watch trailerLittle Brother
Movie | Coming soon
Later this year, Netflix is dropping a new comedy from Matt Spicer, director of 2017's underrated Ingrid Goes West. Little Brother follows a hotshot real estate agent (John Cena) whose picture-perfect life is thrown into shambles when his chaotic little brother (Eric André). resurfaces. Sounds like a pretty rote comedy premise, but we'll watch just about anything that stars Eric André.
