The Last Frontier
You would be forgiven for thinking The Last Frontier sounds like the plot to a Liam Neeson film. Set in the harsh landscape of Alaska, USA, Frank Remnick (Jason Clarke), a U.S. Marshall, is given the task of tracking down 18 inmates who survived and fled a plane crash transporting almost 30 prisoners.
As if that isn't enough to keep Frank busy, one particular prisoner has drawn the attention of the C.I.A., further complicating the entire operation.

Platonic
Bad Neighbours co-stars Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne team up once again, but this time as estranged (and strange) besties in a quirky buddy comedy series.
Childhood friends, Sylvia (Byrne) and Will (Rogen), reconnect as adults when Will messily navigates his way through a divorce. Despite living two very different lives– Sylvia successful and happily married and Will a bit of a lost soul– they still manage to bounce off one another like no time has passed at all. However, they soon discover their friendship is frowned upon by virtually all of their nearest and dearest, labelled as destructive and toxic. But can they make it work and keep things Platonic?

Murderbot
If you haven't watched Murderbot yet, this is your sign to start. With just one season to catch up on, you'll find it an easy binge this sci-fi action meets drama-comedy starring Alexander Skarsgård as the titular Murderbot.
Set in the very, very distant future, we meet Murderbot an Artificial Intelligence robot who has somehow hacked into his system and unlocked free will and, just as dangerously, a wave of new emotions. Originally designed for security, Murderbot tries to conceal its newfound humanity with hilarious consequences.

Chief of War
Jason Momoa truly taps into his heritage as Ka'iana, a Hawaiian war chief, fighting to unify the warring Hawaiian Islands against the threat of colonisation.
An Apple TV original mini-series, Chief of War offers a rare insight into the indigenous Hawaiian people's experience in the late 18th century. There's a rare authenticity to the beatiful scenery, culture, costume design and language that set this series apart from other historical war stories. It is both stunning to look at and absolutely heartbreaking at the same time.
Creator: Thomas Pa'a Sibbett, Jason Momoa | Cast: Jason Momoa, Luciane Buchanan, Te Ao o Hinepehinga | Language: English, Hawaiian | Rating: MA15+
Genre: Period drama
The Reluctant Traveller with Eugene Levy
This is a travel show designed for those who solely adventure vicariously through their friends' Instagram travel stories. Whether you're time poor, money poor or just hate leaving your house, The Reluctant Traveller with Eugene Levy offers a unique take on a travel series.
Watching Levy cross the continents is like seeing someone lie on their resume but get the job anyway. Nevertheless, Levy's 'grandad-like' resistance comes off as more wholesome and hilarious than pessimistic and grumpy.
Best known for his roles as Jim's dad in American Pie and Johnny Rose in Schitt's Creek, Levy clearly packs his humour, delivering some witty one-liners that will leave you cackling.
Creator: Christine Rose, Alan Connor, David Reilly, James Kettle, Mike Shephard
| Cast: Eugene Levy | Language: English | Rating: PG

Foundation
Based on the 1951 Isaac Asimov novel of the same name, Foundation is an Apple TV original sci-fi series gearing up for its fourth season in as many years.
Set in 12,067 G.E. (Galactic Era), which is estimated to be roughly 50,000 years from the present day, warring factions, known as Empire and Foundation, must unite against a figure known as the Mule. His goal? To rule the universe through mind control and military power.
If you want to catch up, now is a great time since season three has just ended and the series has been renewed for a fourth season.

The Studio
The Studio focuses on a barely fictional Hollywood movie studio struggling to bridge the gap between art and business. It gives audiences a unique, behind-the-scenes insight to movie industry and with only 11 episodes airing this year, you have plenty of time to catch up on Seth Rogan, Evan Goldberg and Peter Huyck' latest masterpiece.
It's heartbreaking, frustrating and entertaining in equal measure, a perfect recipe that led to The Studio's award sweep at the 2025 Primetime Emmy Awards.
Creator: Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, Peter Huyck | Cast: Seth Rogan, Catherine O'Hara, Ike Barinholtz | Language: English | Rating: MA

The Morning Show (Morning Wars)
TV journalism can be a cut-throat business and the powerhouse female duo of Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston show us just how intense it can be.
Returning to their respective roles as Bradley and Alex, The Morning Show demonstrates what truly goes into running a morning show, from all the workplace dramas to the craziness of their personal lives. Live vicariously through the challenging, yet, rewarding careers of two women trying to make a difference on and off screen.

Slow Horses
Any show with a lead (Sir Gary Oldman) that gets knighted during its run has got to be worth a watch, right?
Slow Horses is part dark-comedy, part thriller; a series about an unorthodox team MI5 agents working behind the scenes to protect the UK from espionage. It weaves political intrigue and action with witty comedy and characters you'll become thoroughly invested in. Its addictive plot is based on the Slough Horses book series by Mick Herron and, some fans boldy claim the TV series is even better than the novels. Not something you hear too often.
Creator: Adam Randall, Saul Metzstein, James Hawes, Jeremy Lovering | Cast: Gary Oldman, Jack Lowden, Kristin Scott Thomas | Language: English | Rating: MA15+
Genre: Spy thriller, drama
Severance
Apple's office-based sci-fi thriller really put the service on the map. Severance features a star-studded cast with Adam Scott, Christopher Walken, Patricia Arquette, John Turturro, Britt Lower, and Zach Cherry.
We follow middle-manager Mark (Scott) as he heads up a team of corporate staff who are living particularly strange lives. Their memories have been almost surgically split between their work and personal lives. The "innies" and the "outies" (those in the office and out of office) share the same bodies but live completely separate lives. When a chance encounter leads the clueless Lumon employees to question their chosen career path, the whole scheme begins to unravel.
Creator: Dan Erikson | Cast: Adam Scott, Britt Lower, Zach Cherry | Language: English | Rating: M to MA15+
Genre: Psychological thriller, sci-fi drama, mystery
Ted Lasso
After five years, soccer (I'm sorry, football) fans are just as loyal to Ted Lasso as they are to their actual team. And with season four set to premier in 2026, there's still time to jump on the bandwagon.
Ted Lasso details the journey of American football coach, (you guessed it) Ted Lasso, as he makes the switch to the English Premier League in the hopes of pulling A.F.C. Richmond out of a losing slump. It's hilariously entertaining, even for those who aren't sports fanatics, and Jason Sudeikis, the man behind the moustache and creator of the show, truly shines in this role.
Creator: Jason Sudeikis, Bill Lawrence, Brendan Hunt | Cast: Jason Sudeikis, Jeremy Swift, Hannah Waddingham | Language: English | Rating: M
Genre: Sport comedy, drama
